Let’s get down to the nitty gritty…

I’ve been an award-winning freelance writer, editor, and journalist for nearly 20 years, with bylines in National Post, Exclaim!, Xbox Wire, Edmonton.com, and Canadian Medical Association Journal, among many others. I was the arts & film editor of Vue Weekly, a now defunct alt-weekly newspaper, for six years.

I was a writer on Copychaser GamesTimes & Galaxy, which was published in 2024 by Fellow Traveller on PC and consoles.

I’ve been performing and teaching comedy, sketch, and improvised theatre for two decades (mostly with Rapid Fire Theatre). I was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award with sketch duo Gossamer Obsessions (alongside Amy Shostak).

I also wrote a book! We Made It All Up (2022, Folklore Publishing) is the non-fiction story of Edmonton’s longest-running improv company, drawn from 70+ interviews and deep archival dives covering four decades of history.
